Click here for a Katan Tan Application Form WHO – Katan-Tan will be Beth Am’s youngest youth group for Jewish students in Kindergarten & 1st grade. Many of our KATAN-TANiks attend the Jewish Learning Center or a day school. WHAT – Throughout the year KATAN-TAN will hold about three chapter events WHERE – The Beth Am KATAN-TAN Chapter will usually meet at the synagogue. From there we may go by bus or carpool to another location. WHEN – Watch your mailboxes each month for details on upcoming events. WHY – KATAN-TAN means “Little”. It is our goal that through KATAN-TAN membership and participation, young people can be introduced to a life as a Jew. In addition, it will act as a continuation from Pre-School and a bridge to our other youth programs. HOW MUCH – Katan-tan membership $20 (non-Beth Am members welcome) We make every effort to keep the cost of activities to a minimum. It is very important to us that everyone have the opportunity to attend and scholarships are available. WHAT ELSE – Membership – Send in your membership and and you’re all ready for fall. Please send in a separate check for KATAN-TAN dues. Kashrut - As an official youth program of the Conservative Movement and Congregation Beth Am the laws of Kashrut are followed at all events. Reservations – Please, please RSVP as indicated on the flyers so we can be sure to have enough drivers and supplies. Last minute reservations may not be honored.
