Adopt-A-Family Fund has been established to assist families in Israel who have been victimized by terrorist attacks. All funds raised will go directly to the Adopt-A-Family program, providing medical and support care for those in their desperate time of need.
Center For Lifelong Jewish Learning Fund enables Beth Am to provide instructors and supplies for a wide range of continuing education classes and activities for adults of all ages and interests.
General Fund allows for administrative purchases of office equipment, furniture, computers and software, office supplies, oneg/kiddush supplies, family and children’s services, salaries, holidayprogramming, High Holy Day services expenses, Scholar-in-Residence speakers, and numerous other items for the general well being of Congregation Beth Am.
Hevrah Kadisha Fund supplies training and materials that enables Beth Am members to give deceased congregants and their families the proper care in preparation for burial.
Holocaust Remembrance Fund was established to promote educational programs related to the Holocaust. Jewish Learning Center Fund Teacher/classroom supplies and educational programming.
Jewish Learning Center Library Fund purchases new books for our lending Judaic library.
JLC Educator’s Scholarship Fund enables CBA teachers to participate in conferences andworkshops for professional growth. The fund helps pay tuition and travel expenses.
JLC Inclusion Fund facilitates the integration of Jewish children with special needs in the JLC.
Joshua Kaplan Library Fund purchases books for the Synagogue Libary.
Memorial Fund helps underwrite the expense for the Memorial Wall, as well as the Beth Am section of the El Camino Cemetery.
Mikvah Fund supports the future home of the Mikvah.
Mitzvah Committee Fund provides immediate and/or emergency needs for Beth Am congregants in times of the loss of a loved one or a simha, such as a birth or assisting with meals; also assists with transportation to synagogue events and doctor appointments.
Prayer Book Fund donations specifically designated for the purchase of a single prayer book in memory of a loved one (yahrzeit) or in honor of a special occasion. Cost of each new Daily Prayerbook is $25.00, Sim Shalom prayerbook is $36.00 and Etz Hayim is $54.00. Each book is given a label acknowledging this dedication.
Preschool Fund allows for purchases of Teacher and/or Classroom supplies, educational programming, books and toys.
Project Dignity. This fund provides relief to IDF soldiers and their families in severe financial distress. The fund is inspired by the ancient belief that "Kol Yisrael arevim zela'ze" The people of Israel are liable for one another. The Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) provides essential aid that enables these brave and deserving young soldiers and their families who are in financial distress to live in DIGNITY while they defend our homeland.
Rabbi Earne’s Discretionary Fund is used to further facilitate charity in our community.
Rabbi Kornberg's Discretionary Fund is used to further facilitate charity in our community.
Ritual Fund facilitates holiday and Shabbat expenses, purchases of ritual supplies, purchase of general prayer books and family services.
Security Fund is used only for expenses related to ensuring the security of members, students, visitors, staff and facilities of Beth Am.
Youth Department Fund To assist with sponsoring and underwriting expenses related to youth programs and activities.
Youth Group Scholarship Fund provides partial scholarships to those active in Beth Am Kadima and USY who wish to attend Regional youth events.
Youth Travel Fund provides partial scholarships to high school age students, who are members of CBA, desiring to travel to Israel for a learning experience.

PLEASE NOTE: The building fund is now known as the Debt Service Fund. It pays the interest on our Construction Loan. It does not fund the actual construction of the building.
The Capital Campaign is the Construction Fund. The money is used to construct the Building.
