CLJL - Adult Choir Practice

Come and join the Beth Am Choir.
We meet every Wednesday, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Do you have a singing voice? Why not join the Beth Am Choir.  We meet every Wednesday for practice and then we have some wonderful events throughout the year.

The Beth Am Choir started as a “Havurat Zemer” (friends in song) practicing under the direction of Elisheva Edelson, in the summer of 2006.

Since then until now, the choir has performed in different venues; at the Carmel Valley Library, at the UTC Public Library, at Seacrest, for the Family Jewish Services, at the Yom Hazikaron Memorial and of course at Beth Am for the yearly Selihot Service, Holocaust Memorials, Kabbalat Shabbat and at the Hanukah candle lighting at the Del Mar Highlands Mall.

For the first time the Choir joined the Jewish Men’s Choir of San Diego for a great concert at Beth Am performing the beautiful Music from Jewish Musical Theatre and this last December the choir participated in the very first JAM Hanukah Festival Concert at the JCC.

The choir has a very rich repertoire in English, Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino.
