Men of all ages enjoy volunteer and social gatherings, adding to the spirit of the Beth Am community.  Our focus is on bringing our members together, tikkun olam, and raising scholarship funds for our young-adults seeking to enrich their Jewish experience through summer camps, activities, and trips to Israel.

This year, annual dues ($36.00) must be paid directly online – we are no longer able to charge your Beth Am account.   Please click here to join now and pay your annual dues online. Note that you must be a BAMC member to attend most of our events: 

Fantasy Football: Draft date: August 29th | 8:00pm Join the BAMC’s fourth annual Fantasy Football League, and put together a powerhouse team - no prior experience required! You don’t need to know anything about football to have a great time and meet new people. Cost is $40, and space is limited to 12 participants. Labor Day Picnic: Monday, September 2nd | 10:00am - 1:00pm. Please join us at the annual CBA Labor Day Picnic as the Men’s Club hosts the Coffee Bar. The picnic is from 10:00am - 1:00pm and will include a breakfast menu, an ice cream cart, and several activities for all ages. If you are interested, please click here to RSVP for you and your family. 

JFS Feeding the Homeless: (TBA - Spetmeber 2019) Our first Social Action event of the year. More information to follow with sign-up sheet.

High Holy Days: The Men’s Club serves as ushers during High Holy Days services to welcome new and familiar faces in our community. Please click here if you would like to usher during the High Holy Days.

Annual Father/Child Sukkah Sleepover (Friday, October 18th | 8:00pm): one of the fun events we can share with our children. The annual Father/Child[ren] Sukkah sleepover. Enjoy the evening with great activities then when the children are all tucked away in their sleeping bags for the night, the men stay up and do the manly thing: eat a deli platter and play some cards! This event is free and hosted by the Men’s Club.

Annual Steak and Scotch at Rabbi Kornberg's house: You will not want to miss this long-standing BAMC tradition. Meat, drinks, football, poker, and excellent Scotch. More information will follow regarding cost, date (October 2019) and a link to register and pay for the event online.

Movember (November 1st start growing): This month-long event helps build awareness of men's health issues and raise funds to ensure that adequate research is conducted to combat the leading diseases afflicting men. As a community, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community and beyond. More information will follow on how to join the BAMC team and partake in the fundraising and planned activities. The Movember reveal will take place December 1st!

Fantasy Football Night (December 2019): You don't have to be a league owner to enjoy hanging out with the boys to enjoy a night of football. More information will follow with date, time, cost and how to sign up!

Men's Club Shabbat (January 2020). Our Men's Club is back in action on the bima! If you are interested in paticipating in the service (read from the torah, aliyah, prayer, etc..) we will have a part for you. Stay tuned for more information and where to sign up.

BAMC Annual Poker Tournament (January 23rd): Back by popular demand, BAMC is once again hosting an annual Poker Tournament.  Players reaching the final table win some amazing prices [prizes TBA at a closer date to the tournament].  All proceeds benefit the BAMC Scholarship Fund which seeks to help our young adults deepen their Jewish experience through trips to Israel, Jewish summer camp, and the like. 

World Wide Wrap (February 2nd): Our Men's Club join the annual World Wide Wrap where millions of Jewish people around the world participate in the mitzvah of wrapping tefilin altogether. We have extra tefilin, and you do not need to be an expert to participate - we welcome beginners. Following the wrap we will provide the nosh!

BBQ and Brew (May 17th): We hope you will join us at our third annual BAMC Beer & BBQ event. As always, there will be a lot of delicious kosher meat, some great craft brews made by our very own BAMC members, Cornhole Team competition, and classic video games (think Street Fighter!).  

Tikkun Olam: BAMC actively engages volunteer experiences to help our community. For example, this past year, BAMC prepared food and hosted dinners at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center for those in need. 

Beth Am Men's Club Scholarship Program:

We are excited to once to offer the BAMC Summer Scholarship to a Beth Am Youth! The BAMC Summer Scholarship seeks to help our young adults deepen their Jewish experience through trips to Israel, Jewish summer camp, and the like. The application will be available in December 2019. The award recipient will be announced at our Men's Club Shabbat in January.
