Sabra & Hebrew for Credit Electives

Engaging Elective Workshops (Each year electives/chugim change based on availability, below are our most current)

ART: Each week the students will create their own pieces of judaica based on their understanding of their own Judaism and the narratives that motivate their Jewish identities.  We create tzedakah boxes, seder plates, mezuzot, etc.

COOKING: Each week students learn the basics of cooking while creating different dishes from various diaspora communities around the world.  We cooks barekas, Challah, hamantaschen, etc.

KRAV MAGA: In this class, we will develop self-defense skills through the practice of Krav Maga, as well as use the philosophy of this martial art to frame a discussion about the Israel Defense Forces and our Jewish right to defend ourselves.
