B'nai Mitzvah Townhall Meeting

Monday, January 25, 2021 12 Shevat 5781

6:30 PM - 8:00 PMZoom | Password Protected
In light or recent events, we are moving the B'nai Mitzvah Zoom meeting from January 20th, the day of the Inauguration of the new President of the United States, to Monday night January 25th at 6:30 pm (there is no Sabra on this night).  Families who cannot make the new time are  encouraged to find a time to meet with Rabbi Earne on Zoom.  Please contact Bonnie Cohen to schedule a meeting if you cannot make the new time.

Attention to all parents who have children in 5th grade or born in 2010! It is that time of year again when we begin the process of assigning B'nai Mitzvah dates for your children. We have re-scheduled our annual meeting on Wednesday, January 20th to Monday, January 25th to inform you about that very special and unique date and to help you an your family prepare for the many details involved in the B’nai Mitzvah process.

As you may know, a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is a celebration of reaching the age of 13 years old.  It is for this reason that the date is assigned for your child’s 13th birthday according to the Jewish calendar. This year, things will be a little different - the meeting will take place via Zoom. Please fill out the form below and plan to attend the Zoom Town Hall meeting for your child’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

If you have not received an invitation letter, and your child is 5th grade (who has not yet received a B'nai Mitzvah date) or born in 2010, please contact Rabbi Earne via email or at: 858.481.8454 so your child can be assigned a date.
