6:00 PM - 7:00 PMZoom Event | Password ProtectedEsther and Mordecai proclaimed that Purim was a time of feasting and merrymaking (Esther 9:17-22). This ordinance developed into the special Purim meal, or seudah, which takes place during daylight hours on the holiday. It is a most appropriate way to commemorate our success against a decree to physically destroy us, since it gives pleasure to the body. [www.myjewishlearning.com/purim]
Who is ready for a Purim Seudah COVID style?!
Although we cannot be together this year, we can still enjoy all the wonderful parts of Purim! Join Rabbi Earne and Moreh Alan from JLC as they create a fun and engaging seudah for you and your family. We will begin with all of us coming together via Zoom enjoying our very own Seudah, "feast", that each of us has created for our families. (please see below for links to different menus).
During the Seudah, our festive meal, Rabbi Earne and Moreh Alan will lead us in songs, followed by a costume party. We are eager to see you all on Purim.
If you try any of these, send photos to susan@betham.com and we will be sure to upload them to the Beth
