Beth Am Early Childhood Center ("ECC") is committed to helping children become independent learners with the self-esteem and confidence to explore the world around them. With the ever-changing standards for kindergarten entry, we enhance our strong play-based curriculum with academic learning. In this way, we strive to ensure that each student is ready to embark on his/her formal journey of education in our local public and private schools.

A philosophy that fosters the development of the “whole” child
Beth Am Early Childhood Center embraces the philosophy that, through an environment filled with warmth, respect and imagination, we can foster the development of the “whole” child. We focus on the social-emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual well-being of each child. Through our play-based early childhood curriculum, children learn to work as part of a team, acquire problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and gain early reading, writing and math skills. Our nurturing environment provides opportunities for exploration, discovery and hands-on experiences at each developmental level.

In addition to our formal preschool curriculum, Beth Am offers a variety of Parent Participation ProgramsAftercare, and Enrichment Courses, as well as Hebrew Immersion Classes.

Our Early Childhood Center staff—including administrators, teachers and specialty instructors—are dedicated, highly qualified, and committed to ensuring each child feels welcome and encouraged to reach his/her individual potential. The preschool is further supported through the efforts of an Early Childhood Center committee including, parents, educators and clergy.

Beth Am Preschool provides an environment in which children come first, and each child feels unique and encouraged to reach his/her own potential. We welcome parent involvement and work to establish a strong link between school and home.

The words of our students’ parents say it best: “My child’s teachers are caring, respectful, stimulating and responsive to each child’s needs. I am pleased beyond my highest expectations!”
