We Remember: A Series of Life Stories
This documentary by the Beth Am Holocaust Preservation and Education Committee shares the powerful stories of our members who survived the Holocaust:
- Adele Beim: "Righteous Gentiles... A 5 Year Old's Story" - From Bursum, Holland, Adele's family fled after witnessing the arrest of her grandparents.
- Jack Beim: "Surviving Day by Day" - Born in Poland, Jack faced antisemitism throughout his life.
- Goldie Speiser: "A Father's Saving Words" - From Mukachev, Czechoslovakia, Goldie was inspired by her father's words, "You Can Do Anything."
- Irwin Newberg: "A Soldier's Story" - Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Irwin served in the military and faced antisemitism.
- Edith Palkowitz: "Where's the Rest of the World?" - Raised in Budapest, Edith was 13 when the city was invaded in 1943.
- Clara Dunitz: "Tolerance" - Born in Hungary, Clara and her mother endured forced marches and labor.
