Rabbi Aviva Funke, Rabbi-in-Residence
Rabbi Aviva Funke is a dynamic educator and passionate musician who is delighted to bring original music, prayer innovation, and Jewish accessibility to the world. Before ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, Rabbi Aviva served as the Director of Education and Spiritual Support for the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Southern Arizona, supporting guests and educators through healing and transformation retreats.
Rabbi Aviva Funke currently serves as Associate Director of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Phoenix where she curates Jewish learning programs for families, teens, and educators, bringing synagogues and other community organizations together for shared common goals. After pioneering a prayer innovation project in 2016, Rabbi Aviva has been facilitating at conferences, retreats and Jewish communities around the country.
She, her husband Yosef, and their three sons, live in Scottsdale, Arizona. You can find her music on all streaming platforms.
