Born and raised in Bombay, India, in an observant Jewish home, Ann Samson immigrated with her husband to Toronto, Canada in 1966. Ann is a leading spokesperson for the India Jewish Community and has lectured extensively on the subject. Join Ann in this 4-part (or 5-part) series as she discusses the history & sociological structure, traditions & customs, rituals and foods of the Jewish community in India, as well as her own personal journey & transition of moving from India to Toronto and still maintaining a connection to her heritage. (Add on if we can add the movie: And in conclusion, viewing the film, Shalom Bollywood, a documentary on the involvement of Jews in the early years of the Indian film industry from the Baghdadi and Bene Israel Communities in Bombay.)
