Life Cycles.  Sharing the times in our lives.

Life Cycle

For both happy and sad times, we invite you to share them with your Beth Am family.

From birth to death, the Jewish religion is rich with tradition and ceremony surrounding many life cycle events. Congregation Beth Am and its clergy are honored to take part in the simha and commemoration of your joyous events as well as be there to support you in times of sadness and distress. Some of the life cycle events in which we commonly participate include the following:

Brit Milah (Bris)
Simhat Bat (Naming a Girl)
Bar/Bat Mitzvah (Entering Adulthood)

Chanukat Habayit (Dedicating New Home)
Death (Burial, Shivah, Unveiling, Yizkor)

Beth Am has its own Hevra Kadisha (Holy Society) to help members of the Congregation by ritually preparing bodies for burial, offering comfort and support, and helping them through the mourning process. Please contact Rabbi David Kornberg

Our community also works with families to help them through the mourning process. Please reach out to Rabbi Kornberg or Rabbi Earne if you have questions or we can be of assistance for any of these life events.
